You Learn All The Good Stuff at 2 am

Me (upon returning to bed at 2 am because I can’t sleep): “Now if you’re done, can I get some sleep? Jeff (muttering): “Hun, what?!” Me: “Nothing, honey, go back to sleep.” Jeff (continuing to mutter): “What? No! Hun?” Me (Starting to feel really guilty for waking up my perfectly wonderful husband just because I...

I am at my best at 2 a.m. In bed…

I feel like I shouldn’t even comment. Like I should just leave you two alone.

Lemming Status Confirmed

All the cool kids have declared today Official De-lurking Day. So go ahead. Don’t be shy. I only bit that one time in the 80’s.

    Consider me De-Lurked.
Does this mean I have to turn in my long trenchcoat and dark sunglasses?

  • Masked MomOctober 3, 2007 - 4:30 pm

I don’t consider this a true de-lurk since I habitually leave long, boring comments here…and you know you’re going to have to tell us all about that time in the ’80s…

MM, all I’m willing to say is that they TOTALLY deserved it.

Man, the one time I’m not a total lemming…

We Interupt This Blog for a Kitchen Remodel

Sorry, I’m currently knee deep in finishing up the kitchen. And, I keep having to stop to see silly clients and take care of needy cherubs, so this may never be over. Ever. Helllp. But if it does ever end . . . it means you’ll have to put up with more pictures. Sorry.

If remodelling the kitchen makes you happy, it’s worth it. You know you love your cherubs, no matter how needy they are. And those silly clients, don’t they know that Trix are for kids? Missing you SO MUCH right now.

  • JeffOctober 3, 2007 - 9:46 am

Solution: start seeing the clients at the house and teach them the importance of “remodel therapy” and put them to work! Win-Win

Do It Quickly

Currently, I’m staring at the rest of the expanse of my kitchen counters wondering, ‘Really, how hard can it be?’. Why can’t I just leave these things alone? Somebody pleeease, shoot me now. I believe it’s the only way to save me. From myself.

Et Est Done

The kitchen bar is finally done. It was my first experience with installing Formica counters. I wouldn’t recommend it. Definitely a pain in the ass. I will probably pay someone to do the other counters tops. At least the tile came out nice.

It turned out so nice! Remodeling is a major pain in the ass. The tile rocks, and I dig the magnetic spice containers.
