Those are incredible – yours AND Becky’s. I want to wall paper MY house with them and you don’t even live here.

I’m so glad you had a good time.

I’m still waiting for my Bread Pudding!!

I didn’t wait til my 10th to trash my dress–I dropped a stuffed shell on it at the reception (Hint: Never serve red sauce at a wedding.), which is just as well cuz I wouldn’t have fit in it at ten years anyway. I agree with Becky–kudos to you both for not only fitting in them but looking great. The pictures were amazing.

My, my, what good looking people we have here. Thanks for letting me help you trash your dress. 🙂 It was a ton of fun! And, thanks for your compliments–you are very kind! Looking forward to seeing you again!

What an awesome idea! I’m so glad I stalked your blog today. I love, love, LOVE the pictures. Our 10 year is next year. You may have started a revolution! It will be hard for me to resist copying you. My dress is just collecting dust and I’m too cheap to get it cleaned and preserved in one of those dress boxes. How FUN!!!

In Praise of the CFO of DRY Ink

This week Jeff and I begin a march towards our 10 year anniversary on Thursday. This march involves ballet classes, football practice, early dismissal and work for Jeff. (Don’t hate our glamorous life.) But while all that must be endured, we will be leaving Wednesday for a 4 star hotel in New Orleans and a...

It looks like you can write a pretty fancy and flowery letter yourself when you want to. You kind of put mine to shame.

  • JeffOctober 13, 2009 - 9:01 am

That’s sweet. But please! I’ve got a carefully crafted reputation as a grumpy old man, and you’re going to ruin it!

Yeah, I guess Jeff is all right. I mean, all things considering….

If We Can’t Have Fall, At Least We Can Have Football

I love the concentration on the kids faces in this one.

I’m in Louisiana too and have been whining about the lack of fall weather. It’s sad when I get excited about highs in the low 80s.

  • ErikaOctober 12, 2009 - 8:51 am

It is sad indeed Melissa. Maybe if we wish together, fall will show up? Thanks for stopping by.

Dear October,

I’ve tried to be patient with you. Really I have, but we are currently 8 days into your reign and I have yet to see any sign of you. I mean are you really trying to tell me five consecutive days of 90 plus degree weather is acceptable to you? I should hope not. I...

I hope October listens. I’ve been hearing for MONTHS how fabulous it is, but really, it seems to have missed the boat, the train, or whatever mode of transportation it comes in.

  • Masked MomOctober 9, 2009 - 12:28 pm

I think your October and my October should meet in the middle. It’s been rainy and colder than crap (November cold).

Squatters

Remember that shower renno? Yeah, the one I wouldn’t shut up about through out all of January? The oasis I created for myself? The tile I meticulously laid to created the sanctuary, the get away from everyone else? All for me? Yeah. That one? It has squatters. Meet Emmanuel and Rebbecca. And their stuff: (They...

Don’t think I haven’t noticed that Becca hasn’t once averted her eyes while I’m in the shower. I’m not saying anything, I’m just saying…

  • TifaniOctober 2, 2009 - 11:11 am

First of all, Jeff, Becca was probably scared to death – and poor thing only has one pair of shoes! Love the squatters – we have them too – only they are 3-d and for some reason prefer my shower over theirs. They use my razor and leave their crrrrrap.

  • Masked MomOctober 5, 2009 - 6:36 pm

Oh–THAT kind of squatting! You scared me for a minute.
