A Birth Story {Baton Rouge Area Birthography}

So I’ve been sitting on this one a while. Last month I had one of the most emotional experiences I have ever had as a photographer. I photographed Sabra’s journey into the world. It was long and hard and did not end up as expected. In fact, the fight for her is not over, but I would not trade a minute of it. I am so honored her mother asked me to document her birth. Be prepared for a lot of pictures, because she is a precious little girl and her mother was a warrior and fought like hell to get her here.

(A little foot rubbing action to get momma through.)
I even did a little coaching myself
We here at DRY Ink are full service photographers!

Honestly, I don’t have the words to express what a amazing experience this was for me, or how much I love that little girl.
Welcome to the world Sabra!

Rusty – Woodlawn Senior {Baton Rouge Area Senior Photographer}

Super fun shoot with a local Senior. I don’t get to shoot guys as often as I do the girls, so I really enjoyed this one. Not to mention he is amazing soccer player so we had a good time with the soccer ball.

Thanks Rusty and family. I loved every minute of it.

LSU Senior Dana {Baton Rouge Area Senior Photographer}

A few weeks ago I got to sneak in another session at LSU to celebrate Dana receiving her bachelor’s degree.

Thanks Dana. I’m glad our schedules were able to match up, even if he did have to battle the rain. I think we won!

LSU Family Fun! {Baton Rouge Area Family Photographer}

A few weeks ago I meet up with this small band of roving LSU fans. They were pretty hard core, I wouldn’t get in between them and LSU if I were you. We got along just fine!

Thanks guys for having me out to play.
PS you have two of the cutest boys I’ve ever met!

Tony’s 6 Months {Baton Rouge Area Baby Photographer}

I got to have fun with some Christmas lights AND Tony. What more could a girl want?
