On Thursday, my life drastically changed. For the better.
This is Jeff excepting a job offer, which will allow us to eat on a regular basis. This is the end of a battle we began fighting in back in May of 05. This is all my dreams finally coming true. This is the moment the momentum finally changed. This is me breathing a sigh of relief. Finally.
I once saw one of those “just because” Hallmark cards that said on the outside “Why I Work: A Short Essay.” and on the inside, “I like to eat. The End.”
Here’s to your good news!
I absolutely, 100%, having looked through the sofa for money to buy a Slurpee and found NADA, understand.
Oh, the relief. There is nothing quite like it.
