This is Em and her friends. We told them to take a picture and this is what they did. It must be nice to be so devoid of self-consciousness and self doubt, to just think, ‘these are my friends and I love them’ and not have any doubts or wonders about ‘where do I stand’ or ‘how do I look’. I wonder when those feelings start to creep in. I’m watching for them.
